Welcome to the Pine Island Gentlemen's Society 

The first-ever PIGS Invitational is officially on the calendar for August 15–16, 2025, and it promises to be an unforgettable weekend of fishing, fellowship, and friendly competition—exclusively for members of The PIGS and one team they personally endorse. Hosted at the iconic Tarpon Lodge, this invite-only tournament is a celebration of the Pine Island Gentlemen’s Society and the anglers they trust to represent the spirit of the event.

Friday, August 15 begins with the Captain’s Meeting under the Island House:
• Check-In: 5:30–6:30 PM
• Cocktails: 6:30–7:30 PM
• Rules Presentation: 7:00 PM

Appetizers will be provided during the Captain’s Meeting, but participants are encouraged to make dinner reservations inside Tarpon Lodge for a full meal experience Friday night.

Entry fee is $300/per angler.

Tournament Format-This year’s competition will be decided by two live slot redfish (18"–27") brought to the scales. All fish must be alive and within slot to be weighed. Our official weighmaster will oversee the weigh-in process to ensure accuracy and fairness.

Saturday, August 16 is tournament day with the following schedule:
• Lines In: 7:30 AM
• Scales Open: 10:00 AM
• Lines Out: 3:30 PM
• Live music at the pool with a bar available during weigh in until Awards Dinner
• Awards Dinner: 7:00 PM inside Tarpon Lodge

This year’s cash payouts are sure to spark some serious competition:
• 1st Place: $3,000
• 2nd Place: $2,000

• 1st Place boat with non-Captain aboard: $1,000

 

Rooms at Tarpon Lodge are available for both Friday and Saturday nights—be sure to book early to stay at the heart of the action.

This exclusive, first-year event marks the beginning of a new tradition among The PIGS. Only members and their personally endorsed guests will be on the water—one boat per member, one invited team only.
